Check-in is from 16:00 to 18:00, and check-out is until 10:00.

Check-in after 6pm is available upon request.

Katsuura Shimosato A and B

Check-in is strictly between 15:00 and 17:00. *As this is a rural town, we are unable to accept check-in after 17:00 out of consideration for our neighbors.

Check-out is until 10:00.

Shingu

Check-in is from 4pm to 6pm. After 6pm (please inquire).

Once you arrive at the entrance, please call us and a staff member will come and open the door for you.

Please fill in the necessary information and your check-in is complete. We will hand you the key, so you can relax and unwind.

Check-out is by 10am.

After making your call, please place your key in the key box in front of the entrance before you leave.

Katsuura Shimosato

Check-in is strictly between 3pm and 5pm (to be considerate of neighbors).

Please open the key box in front of the entrance with the PIN number that we will provide you in advance, take out the key, and enter.

Please fill out the necessary information and call our staff.

Afterwards, please feel free to spend your time at your leisure.

Check-out is by 10am.

After making your call, please place your key in the key box in front of the entrance before you leave.

Shingu

It is an 11-minute walk from the station and is close to restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, etc., making it a recommended location for those coming by any means of transportation.

Shingu City is between Nachikatsuura Town and Hongu Town, so it is recommended for those who are staying for more than two nights for sightseeing. In terms of facilities, Katsuura Shimosato Buildings A and B have bathtubs, but the Shingu store only has showers.

In addition, the interior was completely renovated in 2000, so it has been given a modern finish from scratch. It can accommodate up to 7 people.

Katsuura Shimosato A

The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and the village is surrounded by mountains, the sea, and rivers, and is rich in nature.

Swimming is prohibited on the beach, just a two-minute walk away, but you can enjoy nature by taking a walk, playing on the rocks, watching the sunset, and gazing at the stars.

Within a 5-20 minute drive there are many beaches, rivers, the Taiji Whale Museum, hot springs, fishing spots and more.

In terms of facilities, Building A features spacious tatami rooms and can accommodate up to 11 people (two bedrooms).

It is popular with three-generation families with children in the summer. There are no restaurants, convenience stores, or supermarkets within walking distance, but if you come by car, you can easily get around within 5 to 15 minutes.

Katsuura Shimosato B

The beach is just a two-minute walk away, and the village is surrounded by mountains, the sea, and rivers, and is rich in nature.

Swimming is prohibited on the beach, just a two-minute walk away, but you can enjoy nature by taking a walk, playing on the rocks, watching the sunset, and gazing at the stars.

In terms of facilities, Building B has one bedroom (accommodates up to three people) and is more compact than the other facilities, but its new, spacious bath is popular.

There are no restaurants, convenience stores, or supermarkets within walking distance, but if you are coming by car, you will have no problem finding one within a 5-16 minute drive.

Accommodation rates vary depending on the date, season, and number of people.

Guesthouse Kokoyui is a whole house available for rent.

Each is limited to one pair.

At Katsuura Shimosato, the only shared space for customers in A and B is the garden.

Curfew is 11pm.

Shingu

Yes, it is possible.

It is an 11-minute walk from the station, so even if you come by train or bus, it is convenient as there are convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby.

Katsuura Shimosato

No, I don't recommend it.

It is a 20-minute walk from the station, and there are no convenience stores, supermarkets, or restaurants within walking distance, so if you don't have a car, please find another place to stay.

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate pets due to concerns about allergies.

Generally, we do not allow anyone other than guests to enter or leave the facility, but if you contact us in advance, you can enter or leave the facility or have a friendly dinner party with everyone until 9 p.m. (However, use of the bath and overnight stays are not permitted.)
